THAMES WATER CLEANING DRAINS
Dear All,
I had been enquiring into the work being carried out or is planned to be carried out by Affinity Water, Thames Water and our Councils. Thames Water are out on the village today doing drain work, I spoke to the team to get input on what they were actually doing.
Two teams checking the state of the soil drains with cameras and a larger unit for waste recovery. They found the stretch did need clearing so the larger of the two units is currently draining any blockage.
Good news perhaps for the main drains in and around Hithermoor Road and Benen Stock Road should we get any more bad weather and rain over the Christmas period. – I’ll try to find out more and keep you updated on any future works planned in other parts of Stanwell Moor.
