Dear All,
Heathrow Airport being closed today has given us respite like we have never experienced.
While the outage at Heathrow Airport will damage HALs financial coffers, for others it has been a day of calmness that some residents of our village may vaguely remember and some will never have experienced before.
Being able to enjoy our gardens, being able to talk to neighbours while out walking in the village without being drowned out by ear-splitting aircraft noise every 45-seconds.
Maybe even having a pint in the pub garden on a Friday and being able to socialise, chat and hear each other.
Maybe even having a pint in the pub garden on a Friday and being able to socialise, chat and hear each other.
Whatever it is, it’s been HEAVEN for a DAY for all of us!
But on the flip side there can no longer be any doubt, Stanwell Moor must be granted WPOZ status and I’ll continue to fight for the most Heathrow-airport-blighted village by a country-mile!
Best regards,
Jim.
Jim.
