Dear All,
You may have received an invitation from Heathrow to join what they call a newly formed Heathrow Stanwell & Stanwell Moor Neighbourhood Group.
Residents who experienced the last post-it note, tick-box farce in 2019, tell me we DO NOT want to be part of any neighbourhood group that merges us with Stanwell as the airport blight the two villages suffer from is so materially different.
I agree with this wholeheartedly as while both villages need to have some form of compensation, the residents Of Stanwell Moor who live directly under a runway, where we experience over 100db noise from overflights and air-pollution from these aircraft cannot be compared to our sister village of Stanwell.

Some have said that this is yet again another cynical move from HAL to attempt to dilute our campaign for just and fair compensation – and many in the village will agree with this too.
I will be writing to Heathrow Directors this week to request a meeting exclusively for Stanwell Moor Residents in our Village Hall and will post update soon.
In the meantime I would respectfully request that our residents do not attend the Heathrow meeting in Stanwell tonight and that Stanwell Moor residents are seen to stand united as we go into this critical part of negotiations.
