Dear All,
I had a meeting with SBC’s Enforcement Team on Tuesday the 10th to discuss continued fly tips in the garages areas at Benen-Stock Road.
Residents contacted me that they were being charged for the removal of these fly tips and I promised to look into this.
I put it to Spelthorne Borough Council, Enforcement Officer that as there is no visible sign of any attempt by the land owner to stop this from happening they had no right to try to exhort money from residents who have a garage there if they are not doing anything to stop this.
The meeting went well, we discussed various options to try to help and I await more follow up feedback from SBC’s Neighbourhood Services and the Enforcement Team.
